Eduardo was born and raised in Florianopolis, a small island in the south of Brazil and fell in love with surfing when he was four.

He graduated from University with a Management Degree in Tourism and then traveled the world to surf some of the best waves. He has been blessed to surf in beautiful places such as California, Hawaii, Indonesia, Mentawais, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Brazil.

He loves to share his lifestyle and the joy of riding waves with everyone who has ever wanted to learn. Due to the warm water and great waves, Maui is the best place to learn to surf!

Eduardo also teaches surf lessons for Waves Hawaii on the south side of the island, and he teaches surf lessons for SwellWomen, Women’s Week Long Surf and Yoga Retreats.

Summer was born and raised in Austin, Texas. After completing her formal studies in Communication and Business, she began traveling the world on a whirlwind of adventures.

She explored New Zealand, Australia, India, Ireland, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Western Europe, Fiji, Bali, Thailand, Brazil, and finally found her roots being planted on Maui, Hawaii.

During these travels she studied Ashtanga Yoga with Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Rangaswamy at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India, received her massage therapy license from the Maui Academy of Healing Arts, and her Associate Chef and Instructor Certification in Raw Gourmet Foods at the World-Famous Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in California.

She loves to surf, has a regular yoga practice, and enjoys sharing her knowledge of healthy living . She continues to study and take ongoing yoga courses, workshops, and teacher trainings with yoga teachers from around the globe.
