Surf Lessons are taught on the beaches and waters off of Kalama park (The Cove) in Kihei, with Waves Hawaii Surf School.  This is the best place to learn to surf in all of Maui due to the semi-shallow water depth and slow break of the waves.  Learn the anatomy of a surfboard, surf etiquette, ocean awareness, safety tips, paddling techniques, how to pop up, how to ride a surfboard, and how to safely end your ride.

  2. •Each of our professional instructors are CPR & First Aid certified.

  3. •For kids under 8 we recommend a private.

  4. •Payment is made at time of booking.

  5. •Prices do not include 4.166% Hawaii state tax or gratuity.
